This is a popular restaurant and bar which has a small seating area for people that want to eat and serves great food. Later in the evenings and especially at weekends it becomes a lively and vibrant bar which is always packed with young travellers and locals alike. This is probably not a restaurant to have a quiet peaceful meal at!

This restaurant - bar is situated in the corner of the popular and busy Placa Reial, until about midnight the upstairs part is a restaurant. It has reasonably priced food from around the world although the wine is quite expensive. The toilets are located to the right of the bar, through double doors and the disabled toilet is on the right.

Rita Blue, the sister bar of Margarita Blue, is set in a small placa just off the Rambla, in the shadow of one of Barcelona’s many churches. There’s seating outside which is reserved for clients that want to eat. There is a small step to get inside, but there is access via a ramp through the service doors just to the left of the main entrance.

This is a restaurant with live music (normally jazz) on Wednesday and Thursday nights after 10.00pm. The restaurant is open Monday - Saturday 1.00pm - 4.00pm and 9.00pm - midnight, closed Sundays. After midnight on Thursdays - Saturdays and evenings before Public Holidays this popular, trendy restaurant turns into a bar and pre-club called Club-Bamboo which is open until 3.00am.

The inside part of this restaurant - bar is where most people chose to eat. However, there is also a seating area outside where it’s possible to sit in the sun and enjoy a meal or have a few drinks. There is a disabled toilet downstairs in the restaurant which is accessible by taking a large old open shaft style lift.

An English bar which serves good quality food from home. They have live music and other activities on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The Philharmonic is open 9am - 3am weekdays and 11am - 3am weekends.

Salambo is a located in the heart of Gracia and serves a lot of typically Catalan food. They also have other styles of food and several choices from Hungary. There is one step to access the restaurant but inside the ground floor is all level access. The disabled toilet is at the back of the restaurant with a unisex foyer to the bathroom area.

Overlooking the port it is a great setting to sit outside and marvel at the hundreds of yachts and boats which are moored in the harbour. La Gavina specialises in sea-food and has an extremely good paella served with black rice. A must try for all sea-food lovers.
