This four star hotel is situated at the top of Las Ramblas where street entertainment and human statues are readily available. This is definitely the busiest area of the city and a focal point for people of all different lifestyles and nationalities. In the centre of the street is a wide pedestrian area which is perfect for wheelchair users. There are markets, museums, statues and the central square of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya, only 2 minutes away.
The foyer of the Rivioli is very pleasant with a new ramp that goes down to the reception desk and a bar which has an accessible WC. There are 3 lifts, one of which is a larger service lift and may be utilised by wheelchair users.

The hotel has two sides to it; modern minimalist rooms with a mosaic style decor and the other more traditional type of rooms.
There are 4 adapted rooms which are quite spacious with two single beds pushed together to form a double. The bathrooms are a reasonable size and the grab rails are fairly well place alongside the bath and WC . There is also a plughole outside of the bath for any access water which may spill over the bath rim.
A nice hotel in a great location for exploring the centre of Barcelona and surrounding area.
